Donating by sending a text message is a quick and easy way to give to The Brain Charity right now. So please give us a hand by texting the code HAND34, followed by the amount you wish to donate, to 70070.
For example: to donate £5, text: HAND34 £5 and send to the number 70070.
We will receive every penny of your text donation. You can donate £1, £2, £3, £4, £5 or £10 by text, for any other amount you'll need to give online, in person or by post. Text donations will be added to your pay monthly phone bill or taken off your pay as you go credit. Texts are free to send for Vodafone customers, and won't come out of any inclusive texts. If you’re with another network, they may also charge you for your text at their standard network rate.

The Brain Charity is a UK registered charity, registered charity number: 1114999. Our donors are very important to us, which is why we promise to protect your privacy. We won't contact you without your permission and will never trade your details with other organisations.
We are proud to work with the Fundraising Regulator, the independent regulator of charitable fundraising, and commit to their Fundraising Promise. This ensures that our fundraising is respectful, open, honest and accountable.
Although we are committed to the highest standards in our fundraising, mistakes can sometimes happen. If you are ever unhappy with anything we’ve done whilst fundraising, please tell us. We’ll do our very best to investigate your complaint and resolve it swiftly.
If you need to make a complaint, you can contact us in any of these ways:

We will acknowledge written complaints within 5 working days, and our fundraising manager will give you a more detailed response (if required) within 15 working days.
If you are unhappy with the way your complaint has been dealt with, please let us know why and what we can do to fix things. Our Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will then carry out a review and we will let you have an answer within a further 10 working days.
If you are still unhappy with the way your complaint has been dealt with you can write to the Chair of The Board of Trustees at The Brain Charity. The Chair will make sure that your complaint has been looked at independently and that it has been thoroughly investigated.
We are usually able to resolve any concerns, but in the event that you feel our response is unsatisfactory, you may take your complaint directly to the Fundraising Regulator.
The Brain Charity is committed to learning and improving on the work that we do. All compliments and complaints will be recorded and reviewed on a regular basis. Any patterns or trends will be acted upon and any suggestions for improvement will be fully considered.
