Symptoms Prader-Willi syndrome is a genetic disorder, which is present from birth. It is characterised by a number of behavioural and psychological features, including low muscle tone, excessive appetite (leading to obesity if not controlled), and immature physical development . Most have borderline or moderate learning difficulties.
