Provide weekly supported pilgrimages to Lourdes from Easter to November, for people with medical conditions that make it impossible or impractical for them to use conventional transport. They also run biannual trips to Rome. People are supported by a team of medical professionals who go with them and travel in a specially adapted vehicle which has ambulance status.

Sailors’ Children’s Society

The Sailors’ Children’s Society provides assistance to children of British seafarers from Merchant Navy, Royal Navy and Fishing Fleet families. They give financial grants to support the everyday needs of children, as well as offering the families they assist the opportunity of a caravan holiday.
