Some of The Brain Charity's Fundraisers March 2019

Meet some of the people who've done something wonderful for us recently.

Adrian Tottey, Managing Director of Create Construction (who have actively supported our fundraising initiatives over the past year) took on 3 different sporting challenges for The Brain Charity: The Manchester 100 bike ride, The Great North Run and The Manchester Half Marathon. He completed all 3 in under 10 hours and raised a tremendous total of £1,718.75 for the charity.

Kitty Cooper and Ryan McKenna gave up alcohol for a sponsored ‘Dry January’, which was especially difficult as both of their birthdays took place in that month! They chose to do this for The Brain Charity as Ryan's brother Neil has been volunteering with us for many years now and is a well-known face in our café. As well as feeling much better in themselves, Kitty and Ryan managed to raise a healthy £163.75 pounds for the charity.

Video gamer ‘ Ytry Guys’ had the innovative idea of raising funds by sitting at his computer and playing the popular games Fortnite and Minecraft while interacting with an audience on the internet. As well as introducing our charity to a whole new crowd, Ytry's 12 hour long fundraising livestream raised over £180 for The Brain Charity.

These are just some of the people who've done something incredible for us recently. Our sincere thanks go to each and every one of our supporters who give their time and energy to raise much needed funds and awareness for The Brain Charity.
