Bethany Leigh was one of the brave people who abseiled off Liverpool Anglican Cathedral on Sunday 24th August 2019. When asked why she wanted to do the abseil she had this to say:
“Working as a Trainee Solicitor in the Catastrophic Injuries Department at Fletchers Solicitors, a large part of my job is working with people who have suffered life-changing traumatic brain injuries and who need supporting to adjust to the fact that their world and entire sense of self has changed overnight. I am honoured to have the opportunity to raise awareness (and crucially - funds!) to support such a fantastic, local charity. This is not only something I appreciate on a professional level, but also personally as they have supported my own family through their work at The Walton Centre”.
Bethany isn’t the only member of the Fletchers team that has raised funds for The Brain Charity recently. Back in May a group of Fletchers employees ran the Liverpool 5 & 10K - including: Chris Lowe, Jennifer Corcoran, Louise Riley, Fiona Swarbrick, Martin Wilson, Kayleigh Harrison, Lucy Warner, Jennifer Argent, Millie Kirby, George Pacitto and Alex Lynch. On their JustGiving pages they've raised a whopping £1,676 between them, including Gift Aid!
A massive thank you to everyone at Fletchers for their continued support.
