This app from Google helps people who find it difficult to use an Android phone or tablet due to neurological conditions that cause their hands to shake (such as Parkinson's, essential tremor or multiple sclerosis) to control their device hands-free by speaking simple commands.
Voice Access provides commands in three categories:
• Basics and Navigation from any screen (e.g. “Open” an app, “Go back”)
• Gestures to interact with elements on the current screen (e.g. “Click next”, “Scroll down”)
• Text editing and dictation (e.g. “Type hello”, “Replace coffee with tea”)
It also lets you issue commands like “Set a timer for 15 minutes” and will even enable you to write and reply to emails and texts using your voice.
Best of all it’s completely free to download and use.
