Patient care and information study for people with seizures or epilepsy

#190 by The Brain Charity
Researchers at Liverpool University are investigating what the experience of unplanned care (A&E) is like for people with seizures or epilepsy, and how they think the use of health records influences this experience. To take part you should have COPD/seizures/alcohol-related illness and have had an unplanned hospital visit during the last 12 months because of your COPD/seizures/alcohol-related illness. Participants will receive a shopping gift voucher worth £15 to recognize their contribution and compensate them for their time. This study is part of a wider project looking at how health information that is recorded and stored when people receive care at GP practices, hospitals and community health services might be used in better ways to help improve care for people who need emergency hospital care for COPD, seizures and alcohol-related illness. If you would like to take part in this study, please contact:Dr. Rabeea’h W AslamTel: 0151 794 9720 Email: This email address is being protected from spambots.
