The Brain Charity are offering a series of free group therapy workshops to help people with managing Anxiety and Pain this September.
Group therapy is a form of therapy that involves learning about and sharing similar experiences with people to enable personal growth.
There will be range of topics covered with a different topic being explored in detail each week:
9th September 2019: Introduction to anxiety
16th September 2019: Managing anxiety
23rd September 2019: Worry management
30th September 2019: Anxiety and sleep
7th October 2019: Understanding persistent pain
14th October 2019: Pain management
21st October 2019: Relationships and pain
28th October 2019: Anger and pain
4th November 2019: Looking forward
The sessions will be run by Soha Daru, a trainee Counselling Psychologist.
Sessions run every Monday from 10am-12pm starting 9th September 2019.
