Coronavirus update from The Brain Charity Norton St Liverpool
News

Unfortunately due to the latest Covid-19 national lockdown restrictions, The Brain Food Cafe and our charity shop are now closed until at least Wednesday, December 2nd. ⠀

Currently, the only essential services taking place face-to-face in our centre on Norton Street are (covid-safe) counselling/therapy and educational courses, in line with Government guidelines. This includes our IT and English classes run in partnership with Liverpool City Council’s adult learning team. ⠀
Counselling is also being provided via phone or video call if preferred. This is open to anyone with a neurological condition, from anywhere in the UK - and their family members and carers too. It's very easy to self-refer - just email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or call our free helpline on 0800 008 6417 to be added to the waiting list & we will ensure you are seen by a counsellor as quickly as possible. ⠀

All other Brain Charity services are continuing to run virtually, and nearly all staff are continuing to work from home as they have been since September. Unfortunately we cannot allow drop-ins to the centre, so if you need assistance with existing issues, please continue speaking to your Brain Charity contact via phone, email or Zoom. But as always, if you need assistance with anything else at all you can message us on our social channels, email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or call 0800 008 6417 (helpline) or 0151 298 2999 (reception). ⠀

Please check our social media & website regularly for the latest updates – including more details on our brand new programme of Zoom-based activities for the coming months. We hope to reopen as soon as we can & have everything crossed that soon the centre will be back to its usual hustle and bustle - with every hug a little tighter than it was before. ⠀

Thanks and stay safe,⠀
