The Brain Charity are delighted to have been awarded the Navajo Merseyside Charter Mark, an equality Kite Mark that's sponsored by In-Trust Merseyside and Sefton Embrace.
The Charter Mark, supported by the LGBTI community networks across Merseyside, signifies good practice and knowledge of specific needs, issues and barriers that face LGBTI people within Merseyside and our organisation’s commitment to supporting those people.
Some of our staff and volunteers went along to the awards ceremony at John Moores University on the 17th of May to collect our Charter Mark and had the opportunity to meet other organisations who were in receipt of the award as well as members of In-Trust Merseyside. It was a fantastic event and we feel very honoured to have been a part of it.
We will also be taking part in the Liverpool Pride Festival on Saturday 27th of July and everyone is welcome to join our group on the march that leaves from St George’s Plateau.
To find out more details about the Festival and the march visit the LCR Pride Foundation website.
