The Brain Changer Arts Project
News

The Brain Changer Arts Project will deliver physiotherapy through dance and occupational therapy through arts and crafts in free workshops for children and young people with neurological conditions.

We want to use this project as a rehabilitation and early intervention model to support long term development in the children and young people involved.

Our aims are around physical improvements in the participants – in mobility and hand and arm skills – and also to increase levels of confidence.

This is a unique approach to combine art and dance with therapies as they are often done separately. One issue of therapies delivered by themselves is the patients not sticking to the exercises given to them, so we hope to show that this non-clinical setting will be motivating, rewarding and fun.

Please get in touch to find out more information or to suggest someone who might benefit from participating in the project. Email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or call us on 0151 298 2999 and ask for Joanne.
