Art Journey: Air dry clay
Explore shape, colour, and creativity in this hands‑on Art Journey session, where you’ll design and sculpt your own piece using air‑dry clay before adding painted details to bring it to life.
Ideal for beginners and craft lovers alike, this workshop offers a calm, enjoyable way to experiment with tactile materials.
This is a relaxed, sensory‑rich activity that encourages self‑expression and boosts wellbeing.
Art Journey is The Brain Charity’s new creative course designed to help you explore new skills, build confidence and enjoy a wide range of arts and crafts. Each activity focuses on a different technique — from drawing and watercolours to sewing, printing and more.
The full Art Journey course runs over 18 weeks, but you don’t need to commit to the full programme. Instead, you can sign up for the activities that interest you most.
You can choose from the following activities:
- Week 1: Drawing
- Week 2: Watercolours
- Week 3: Felt decorations
- Week 4 & 5: Air dry clay and painting
- Week 6 & 7: Sewing
- Week 8, 9 & 10: Block printing
- Week 11 & 12: Crochet – amigurumi
- Week 13, 14 & 15: Stone carving
- Week 16, 17 & 18: Soft toy design and making
Some activities take place over two or three weeks, giving you plenty of time to learn, create and complete more in depth projects. If you choose a multi week activity, you will need to attend all sessions in that block, so you can complete your project from start to finish.
Places are limited to ten per class and are available on a first come, first served basis, so sign up today to avoid disappointment.
You can sign up for this block of sessions on its own or mix and match with other Art Journey workshops — whatever suits you best. Please let us know which weeks you’d like to attend in the comments section of the form when you sign up.
