Art Journey: Block printing

Discover the bold, expressive world of block printing in this creative Art Journey workshop. Perfect for beginners and seasoned crafters alike, this hands‑on session guides you through the process of designing, carving and printing your own unique patterns.

With step‑by‑step support from our friendly tutor, Snoof, you’ll learn how to safely carve a simple block, experiment with inks, and create striking prints on paper or fabric.

It’s a fun, hands on activity that encourages creativity while offering a relaxing, mindful escape.

This class is part of Art Journey, The Brain Charity’s new creative course designed to help you explore new skills, build confidence and enjoy a wide range of arts and crafts. Each activity focuses on a different technique — from drawing and watercolours to printing, pottery and more.

The full Art Journey course runs over 18 weeks, but you don’t need to commit to the full programme. Instead, you can sign up for the activities that interest you most.

You can choose from the following activities:

Some activities take place over two or three weeks, giving you plenty of time to learn, create and complete more in depth projects. If you choose a multi week activity, you will need to attend all sessions in that block, so you can complete your project from start to finish.

Places are limited to ten per class and are available on a first come, first served basis, so sign up today to avoid disappointment.

You can sign up for this block of sessions on its own or mix and match with other Art Journey sessions to design your own creative path. Please let us know which weeks you’d like to attend in the comments section of the form when you sign up.
