You’ve taken your first step towards an unforgettable London Marathon experience.
Now, let’s make it amazing!
Thank you so much for signing up to take part in the UK’s biggest marathon to fundraise for The Brain Charity.
We have put together this runner’s hub to help answer any questions you might have and make the most out of your experience.
FAQs:
If you have selected that you require a running vest/ technical top when signing up, you will receive this within the following two weeks.
You must collect your running pack, including bib number and chip, at the London Marathon Running Show. We will keep you updated on the exact dates and times!
To collect your race number at the London Marathon Running Show, you will need photographic ID and your QR code sent to you via email when you complete your registration with the event organisers of the London Marathon.
To the London Marathon, just be ready to run – wear comfortable clothes and shoes, and your race number! We do not recommend that you wear new shoes on race day, as they need time to be broken in.
The London Marathon welcomes the use of standard (non-motorised) wheelchairs, and you can apply for a free guide or support runner through their website. They also offer accessible toilets, “Just Can’t Wait” Toilet Cards, Mobiloos and a sensory calm space.
