Sponsor one of The Brain Charity’s events

At The Brain Charity, we host a range of events throughout the year, from social get-togethers to our popular Head Matters open day.

What kind of events can my company sponsor?

  • Social activities, such as our art classes or yoga sessions, so we can provide better materials and welcome more clients to take part.
  • Community events, like our monthly coffee mornings or volunteer socials, so we can prevent social isolation and serve better food and refreshments.
  • A fundraising event, such as a charity abseil or the London Landmarks Half Marathon, to help us cover upfront costs so all profits go to our frontline services.
  • A fundraising campaign, like our Neuro Noel Christmas Appeal, so we can expand our reach and raise even more funds.
  • Our annual Head Matters Open Day, so we can reach even more people in the community to raise awareness of our services.
  • Our Annual Celebration Evening, so we can treat our clients, volunteers and supporters to a wonderful night of celebration.

Our events

Every year The Brain Charity runs events to bring our community together and support the 1 in 6 people living with neurological conditions.

Whether an adrenaline-fuelled challenge, a neurological information day, a social get-together for people affected by neurological conditions or a glittering black tie event – there is something for everyone.

These take place in The Brain Charity’s centre in Liverpool and in external venues across Merseyside, and regularly draw in hundreds of attendees.

What are the benefits of sponsoring one of The Brain Charity’s events?

The Brain Charity is seen as a trusted source of advice by our community. Aligning your brand with ours by sponsoring an event will put your company in front of a new and engaged audience.

Your company will receive promotion across our social media and e-newsletter, which have a combined audience of over 40,000 followers.

Depending on the event and level of sponsorship, there will also be opportunities to have your company name and logo featured on printed media and our website, which receives over 400,000 views annually.

Sponsoring an event can fulfil your internal corporate social responsibility (CSR) goals, which we can evidence by providing an impact report. It may also qualify as a tax-exempt business expense.

If your company sponsors a fundraising event, we can hold priority places for your employees so they can experience bucket list activities.

Amber

Amber’s story:

“The Brain Charity is a tight-knit and supportive network, which made a huge difference in my life.”

Amber, who is autistic and has a learning disability, first came to The Brain Charity for support, particularly around building her confidence.

She soon found joy in volunteering, first by helping our Information and Advice team send out information packs, then in our centre handling client enquiries and welcoming new volunteers.

Amber has now been volunteering at The Brain Charity for over ten years and says it has helped her to develop her social and communication skills.

She said: “I truly value the sense of community here at The Brain Charity. I especially enjoy the various events like the monthly coffee mornings.”

Amber also enjoys taking part in The Brain Charity’s regular social activities, including maths classes, ukulele sessions and arts and crafts.
