Support neurodivergent talent and build a more inclusive workplace

This self-paced online course, developed by The Brain Charity’s neurodiversity training team, helps individuals and organisations understand, support and celebrate neurodiversity at work. Designed by people with lived experience of neurodivergence, it offers practical, expert-led guidance to create inclusive and accessible workplaces. 

The course is split into three structured sections: 

This course is designed for any professional who wants to be a better ally to those neurodiverse individuals in their lives. You don’t need to be an expert to get started—just open to learning.  

What the course covers

  • Understanding neurodiversity: Learn what neurodiversity is, how it shows up in the workplace, and why it matters. 
  • Supporting strengths: Explore the challenges neurodivergent colleagues may face alongside their unique strengths and contributions. 
  • Creating inclusive environments: Discover practical ways to reduce barriers, adapt processes, and meet your responsibilities under the Equality Act. 

Interactive, flexible learning 

This 60 to 90-minute course is designed for maximum accessibility. It’s completely self-paced and can be completed in short, manageable sessions over the course of the three-month license—ideal for busy working professionals. Content is delivered through a mix of video, voice overs, real-world case studies and scenario-based learning, paired with reflective exercises that help you apply what you’ve learned as you go. 

At the end, a final knowledge check helps reinforce your understanding, and you’ll receive a certificate to recognise your completion. The course is accessible on desktop and mobile and requires no prior experience or specialist knowledge. 

Pricing 

The course costs £28 per user and is available immediately through The Brain Charity’s online training portal. We also offer discounted rates for teams and larger organisations purchasing group access.
