Prescription charges and Parkinson’s

Do you live with Parkinson’s

or

Are the family of someone living with Parkinson’s?

If you answer yes to either of the above, the University of Liverpool wants to hear from you!

This research is hosted at The Brain Charity, Norton St, and also online.

Drs Readman and Polden, from the University of Liverpool say this:

“In this study we want to hear your experiences of NHS prescription charges to help us understand more about how prescription charges may impact you and influence your behaviours surrounding medication taking.

“Please note we would love to hear from people who are currently paying charges but also people who are not paying charges.”

What does this study involve?

We will invite you to 2-hour collaborative focus group, either face-to-face at The Brain Charity or online. Some focus groups will be conducted in central London, with others being conducted in the Liverpool/ Lancashire area.

During this focus group you will be asked to discuss your experiences of prescription charges, and how these charges may impact you and your family, in order to identify how we may be able to improve care.

Two, separate, face-to-face sessions will be held at The Brain Charity in 2 slots, over tea, coffee and cake:

  • Thursday 28th September 10am-12pm
  • Thursday 28th September 1pm-3pm
