The Brain Charity awarded office revamp worth £1,000 by BlindsbyPost

Our warm space just got warmer thanks to free thermal blinds

BlindsbyPost has announced The Brain Charity as the winner of a bundle of thermal blinds.

This followed a recent competition, which called on people from across the North West region to nominate business, charities, schools and other organisations that are deserving of an office or building upgrade.

In winning the competition, The Brain Charity secured a prize bundle of new thermal blinds, to upgrade our centre and provide insulating properties to reduce the cost of heating.

The Brain Charity’s day services and office space has inhabited the same centre in Liverpool for 30 years and due to the nature of the building, the windows are a source of needless heat loss.

Tui Benjamin Thorp, Head of Communications at The Brain Charity said: “We’re thrilled to have been selected as the competition winner.

“We provide a warm space for clients to come and receive support and socialise, and it just got a little bit warmer!

“These new thermal blinds will hopefully help reduce our energy bills at a difficult time for charities due to the cost of living crisis, benefitting both our neurological community and our staff.”

Founded in 2008, BlindsbyPost is the leading expert in made-to-measure window blinds. The Yorkshire-based retailer offers consumers a bespoke and fully online blind ordering service from its ecommerce store.

The company is one of the only retailers in the UK to have its own factory where every blind is handcrafted by more than 40 skilled employees.

Oliver Hudson, Managing Director at BlindsbyPost is thrilled to be supporting The Brain Charity.

He said: “The Brain Charity is a fantastic organisation that works tirelessly to provide excellent support to those living with neurological conditions.

We hope the office revamp will provide a warm and sociable space for its users, with our thermal blinds meaning there’s the potential for the charity to save on energy bills.’”
